Welcome to Little Bears We hope that you will chose us for your child's formative years of education and Bear Club for your older child's before and after school care and summer camp needs. We believe that all chldren are special and unique in their own way. Our objective is to help educate and nurture these young minds while they are in our care. We believe that children learn best through active participation, therefore we provide students with many different structured and unstructured play activities to help us achieve this goal. Our spacious clean classrooms allow your child the freedom to interact with the teacher and their classmates. Little Bears' main goal is to help to develop each child's individual needs no matter what race or religion into a strong independent individual. We are committed to sending our preschoolers to elementary school with confidence in their social academic, cognitive, fine motor and gross motor skills. Little Bears is located on 6 acres in the heart of Bartlett on beautiful rolling land surrounded by trees that create a more private and scenic environment as well as supplies an abundant amount of shade for all the playgrounds. We have our own ball field, soccer field, basketball goals, sand boxes, and state of the art playground equipment. So we have lots of room to run and romp and play.
All teachers’ have been finger printed and passed criminal background checks. Each teacher has completed certifications required by the state of Tennessee and DHS to teach in a childcare setting. Several of our staff members have college degrees and masters. All of our full time staff is required to be trained in CPR and first aid and we have a licensed EMT with IV therapy on staff .
We offer full and some part time programs for children ages 12 months to 13 years old .Breakfast, hot lunches and snacks are served daily. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. We offer before and after school care and a Bear Club summer camp for school-agers.
